S.A.F.E — Shipping and Freight Efficiency mobile app was developed as a case solution for the Finnish transport company MacGregor. The application is necessary to optimize logistics processes, to control carbon dioxide emissions during sea transportation and some other tasks.
S.A.F.E — Shipping and Freight Efficiency mobile app was developed as a case solution for a Finnish transport company MacGregor. The results were presented on the Intelligence Hunt® (#intelligencehunt). For the implementation of the case, 3 months were allocated, after which it was presented at an international exhibition NAVIGATE 2020 in the city of Turku, Finland.
The results of the case are: an application for the Android mobile operating system and theoretical material on the optimization of logistics processes.
The app includes two functions. The first function is a set of calculators aimed at improving the efficiency of transportation of freight containers (ISO containers). The second function is aimed at optimizing the transportation of general cargo (Break bulk cargo).
Изначально приложение S.A.F.E разрабатывалось международной командой, в которую входили: Глеб Алцыбеев, Глеб Федоров, Daniel Chadwick и Shubham Yadav. В настоящий момент приложение переросло в самостоятельный проект с одноименным названием и разрабатывается в контексте компании Алцысофт независимо от компании MacGregor.
